The background of the film “Haru”: This film, set in Morioka in 1995,
is a story of a couple living far away from each other. In this film, they
exchange e-mails, which is a common way of communication now. Although
the film was produced seven years ago, it doesn’t have an old-fashioned
atmosphere. However, you would be surprised by the fact that there are
many difference in the scenery of Morioka at that time from that of now.
